More than 40 Allan Hancock College Fast Track/Term 2 credit classes are still open, including auto technology, business, dance, economics, English, film, history, political science, psychology, viticulture and more. In eight weeks or less you can be smarter, closer to a college degree and/or ready to take on a new job with the help of these classes.
Fast Track classes offer students instruction in eight weeks or less (many classes are one or two days long). Term classes last eight weeks. Eight week classes begin the week of Oct. 18; shorter classes begin throughout the semester in October, November and December.
Classes are offered at the Santa Maria campus, Lompoc Valley and Vandenberg AFB centers and online. The classes are popular with individuals who want to complete college classes at a faster rate with concentrated instruction.
Online registration for Fast Track/Term 2 credit classes is now under way. Register for eight-week classes through Oct. 20 online at www.hancockcollege.edu. Logon to myHancock, click the “Student” tab, then “Register/Add/Drop/Search Classes.” For classes that begin after Oct. 20, students can register online up to the first day of class, space permitting.

All new students and students without a user name and password must first apply to the college before registering for classes. Access the online admission application by clicking the link under “Apply Fall 2010“ on the homepage.
The enrollment fee for Fast Track/Term 2 credit classes is $26 a unit for California residents, plus minimal fees, if applicable. Fast Track classes are open to anyone 18 or older. High school students can also attend through the College Now! program—see an AHC counselor for details.
