Registration is still available in more than 80 Fast Track/Term 4 classes that begin March 21 or later. Twenty-nine of these classes were just added to the schedule last week. Classes are offered online, at the Santa Maria campus and at the Vandenberg AFB Center. Online registration is under way.
Fast Track/Term 4 classes offer students instruction in eight weeks or less—some are only one or two days. The classes are popular with those who want to complete classes at a faster rate, with concentrated instruction. A wide range of courses is offered. Available classes include anthropology, art, word processing, computer science, dance, emergency medical services, English, entrepreneurship, environmental technology, fire technology, history, law enforcement training, math, multimedia arts, nursing, personal development, psychology, sociology, speech, soccer, basketball and welding.
Students may register online for eight-week term classes through March 24. For Fast Track classes, students may register online up to the day before the first class session.
The cost for Fast Track/Term 4 classes is $26 a unit. Other fees may apply.
Classes are open to anyone who is 18 years or older and able to benefit from instruction, including high school graduates under age 18. Current high school students are also eligible for enrollment through Hancock’s College Now! program.
