The U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) invites you to attend a conference entitled “Protecting American Workers”, addressing the rights of workers and employer obligations under the federal laws and regulations on Thursday, November 10, 2011 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The purpose of the OFCCP is to enforce, for the benefit of job seekers and wage earners, the contractual promise of affirmative action and equal employment opportunity required of those who do business with the Federal government. This conference will feature presentations from several federal and state agencies including the OFCCP, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), U. S. Department of Labor Wage & Hour Division, California Department of Rehabilitation (DOR), and Employment Development Department (EDD).
