“I can’t think of a better way to finish off our ten year anniversary celebration” said Community Bank of Santa Maria President and CEO Jim Glines.  “We started the year with financial education for elementary school children, and we’re finishing with a Christmas celebration with seniors” he said.

Community Bank of Santa Maria opened for business on March 1, 2001 and is the only locally owned bank in Santa Maria.  It has two branches in Santa Maria and it operates a division in Lompoc, Lompoc Community Bank.

The Luis Oasis Senior Center is owned and operated by Orcutt Area Seniors In Service, Inc., a non-profit corporation of senior serving seniors as advocates and volunteers.  For nearly 25 years, their purpose has been providing services aimed at encouraging all adults, especially those 50 years of age and over, to become involved in preserving and improving their quality of life, and providing social, educational, and cultural opportunities for these adults.
