The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go”  We believe the gift of literacy is a priceless ticket to the world! Join Greg and Nicole by supporting our local students, teachers, parents and community.

The Imagination Library –provides a brand new, age appropriate book, every month from birth to kindergarten, for every registered child.  The child’s hardback book is delivered right to their door each month. The first book that they receive is The Little Engine That Could and their last book will be Look Out Kindergarten, Here I Come! All books are selected by a panel of educators and are geared to the child’s specific age. 85% of a child’s brain development happens in the first five years of life. This is why promoting literacy is so important.  Open a book and open a door to a child’s future. In 2011 more than 90% of parents responding to our survey stated “the Imagination Library has had a positive impact on our family and they are reading more often with their children” The goal this year is to reach 1,000 preschoolers enrolled out of the approximately 7,000 identified as eligible and in need.
