The Radisson Hotel Santa Maria was presented with a 2011 Radisson President’s Award. The hotel was selected from among more than 420 Radisson hotels globally. Santa Maria was one of 17 U.S. Radisson Hotels that received this prestigious award.

The President’s Award is presented to the properties that achieved top scores in guest satisfaction as measured by guest feedback for cleanliness and consistency in meeting (and often exceeding) the brand’s product quality standards. Javier Rosenberg, Vice President, Owned and Managed Operation, Carlson Hotels Americas, presented the award to Jean-luc Garon, General Manager, of the Radisson Hotel Santa Maria.

Garon credits his staff for the award.  “I am thrilled that the hard work of the caring employees here at the Radisson Santa Maria has been recognized.  Our goal is for every guest to have an excellent experience here and it is only through great teamwork that we have been able to make this a hotel worthy of this high award.”

This award recognizes those hotels and resorts that have consistently provided exceptional guest satisfaction and brand engagement with top scores the following areas: service performance index, product performance index, loyalty performance index and cleanliness and conditions. The President’s award has become the symbol of outstanding quality for Radisson.
