Eric’s Run is a community oriented trail running and walking event to benefit the Eric Okerblom Foundation. All events will start and finish at the Orcutt Community Park 5800 S Bradley Road, Orcutt, CA – Area A

Runner check in starts at 7:00am
The 10km run/walk starts at 8:00am
The 5km run/walk starts at 9:00am
Santa Maria Style BBQ 9:00 – 1:00pm

About Eric’s Run

Eric was 19 years old when he was struck and killed by a distracted driver while riding his bicycle on a country road. He was training to join the Berkeley Cycling Team. It happened on a straight road, in broad daylight, and in direct line of sight of the driver for 6/10ths of a mile. Eric was hit from behind and thrown 140 feet to a violent death.
