Writing Class, Community Partners in Caring Volunteer Program, People for Leisure and Youth

(PLAY) Celebration of Life, Alvin Elementary School Learning Handicapped Class Deskercise,

Santa Maria Valley Humane Society Mobile Life Veterinary Surgical Table, Santa Maria Valley

Y.M.C.A. Literacy Program, Santa Barbara County Education Office Teacher Grants, Children’s

Resource And Referral Service Lending Library, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA)

Birthday Program, Royal Family KIDS of Santa Maria Summer Camp; Dunlap, Patterson and

Pine Grove Schools California Reads Program.

Ralph Dunlap Elementary School will receive a bookcase and books from the memorial

donations in memory of Margaret Rustin Pearson, an Altrusa member for over 45 years.

The Altrusa International Foundation of Santa Maria has given over $450,000 back to the Santa

Maria Valley since its inception in 1992, including $80,000 to the Santa Maria Public Library.

and over $25,000 to the Santa Maria Valley Humane Society.

The Altrusa International Inc. of Santa Maria Club is open to men and women interested in

serving the needs of the community, it meets the second Wednesday of each month at the

Bethel Lutheran Church, 624 E. Camino Colegio at 6:30 PM.
