The Santa Maria-Bonita School District thanks the businesses, local organizations and people throughout the community that support students and schools in many ways during the year.

In April, the school district held its annual golf tournament to raise money to donate to the D.A.R.E. Program. The tournament, held at Cypress Ridge Golf Course, raised nearly $15,000 to help fund the D.A.R.E. program which teaches children to resist drugs, alcohol and violence. The tournament would not be successful without the support of many, many sponsors and donors. The major sponsor was Sysco, and the tournament committee is grateful for Sysco’s generous support.
