On Saturday, August 3, 2013, single tickets*
for CAL POLY ARTS‘ new season will go on sale at the Performing Arts Center Ticket office. Patrons who arrive at the Performing Arts Center any time after 10:00 a.m. to wait for the Ticket Office to open at noon for the first single tickets sales will be treated to refreshments, music, and free ticket give-aways for the first 25 people in line. Join the festivities and get the best seats available.
The Cal Poly Arts 2013-14 season is filled with more than 40 performances, spanning all genres and including such highlights as folk rockers Emmylou Harris & Rodney Crowell, comedian Lewis Black, award-winning singer/actor Mandy Patinkin, foodie favorites Alton Brown, Dance Theatre of Harlem, violin virtuoso Joshua Bell, blues legend Buddy Guy, magician/illusionist Mike Super, Jungle Jack Hanna, Cirque Éloize, and Broadway favorites like “West Side Story” and “Rock of Ages.”
Discount subscription tickets have been on sale during the summer, honoring the incorrect, lower prices that were inadvertently printed in the Cal Poly Arts season brochure. These low subscriber prices will be available throughout the season for patrons who order tickets to four or more regular season shows.
Just announced: ultra-hip, ultra popular Pink Martini will return as a special Center Stage event, performing a rich and eclectic holiday show on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. in the Cohan Center. A sold-out favorite with Central Coast audiences, this will be the first time Pink Martini has celebrated the season at the PAC. Tickets for this Center Stage concert go on sale to the general public on August 3 as well. While Center Stage events are excluded from season ticket discounts, season subscribers may order their Pink Martini tickets in advance.
Single tickets may also be purchased online any time as of August 3 at www.calpolyarts.org, in person at the Performing Arts Center Ticket Office on the Cal Poly campus or over the phone by calling 805-756-4849 during regular business hours: Tues. – Sat., noon – 6 p.m.
* Single ticket pricing reflects prices adjusted to what they were intended to be for the 2013-14 season, with price increases ranging from $6 – $12 per ticket compared to those event subscription rates listed in the brochure. Brochure prices available to season subscribers only.
