The Santa Maria Valley Industry Education Council and the Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce & Visitors and Convention Bureau are proud to sponsor this year’s Business Appreciation luncheon.  The event will be held on Wednesday, September 11 at the Elks Lodge from noon to 1:30 p.m.   It is a celebration of our community’s strong commitment to public education, and an opportunity to thank the many donors to who help educators set the foundation for student success.

This year’s theme, All American Partnerships, pays tribute to the many companies, nonprofit agencies, and individuals who are steadfast supporters of our schools.  All these community leaders help forge a dynamic learning experience for students, giving each one the opportunity to succeed in school, and in life.

The All American Partnerships luncheon will include the distribution of eight computers through the Computer Connections program, a joint venture between the Industry Education Council and the Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce.  As of this date, more than 190 families have received computer packages through the program for under-served children.  The students are the deserving recipients of technology to help prepare them for their future achievements as productive and engaged citizens.

Please join us as we salute the many dedicated community partners for their continued support of business/education partnerships in the Santa Maria Valley.  Thank you to all the businesses, individuals and nonprofits who have partnered with our schools to help create a positive learning environment for students.  We appreciate your support!
