The California Employment Development Department (EDD) and the Santa Barbara County Workforce Investment Board in collaboration with the Lompoc Valley Chamber of Commerce, the City of Lompoc, and Allan Hancock College, along with other agencies and organizations are excited to present the Lompoc Valley Job & Resource Fair.

The event date is Wednesday, September 25th, 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. at the Veteran’s Memorial Center, located at 100 E. Locust Avenue in Lompoc.  The event is open to job seekers of all ages, with a special focus for local youth.

“What a great opportunity for the City of Lompoc to connect qualified job-seekers with local employers.  Businesses are not only looking for prospective employees to fill permanent and part-time positions but they are also starting to look at staffing needs for the upcoming holiday season, so the timing is perfect for such an event.” said Ken Ostini, President and CEO of the Lompoc Valley Chamber of Commerce. “

The Lompoc Valley Chamber of Commerce would like to invite all local employers who are considering hiring to attend the Job Fair and to have a table at the event.
