Hospitality industry leader Lotus Management, Inc. has appointed Karla Azahar to general manager,
overseeing Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in Santa Maria, CA.
Azahar has more than 12 years of professional experience in the hospitality industry. She comes to
the Santa Maria hotel from a Pismo Beach hotel where she was the front office manager/revenue
manager. She also has served as general manager of Palace Entertainment in Santa Maria and Fresno.
Her experience makes Azahar a perfect fit for the general manager position at the Santa Maria, CA
hotel.

favorite part of working in the hospitality industry is taking care of our guests. With this position, that will mean

Azahar is a resident of Santa Maria and is excited to embark on this new venture within her
community.

where I graduated high school and college.” Azahar said. “I have real roots in this area and am
very much looking forward to partnering with the city of Santa Maria and its Chamber of Commerce to
