The Mission Hope Cancer Center Offers Class to Discuss the Importance of a Colonoscopy

Screening colonoscopies are the best way to prevent colorectal cancer

Marian Regional Medical Center (MRMC), which along with Arroyo Grande Community Hospital (AGCH) and French Hospital Medical Center (FHMC) are Dignity Health’s Central Coast hospitals, is pleased to announce that Marian Cancer Care together with Mission Hope Cancer Center is offering a free and informative class about the lifesaving power of a colonoscopy in recognition of national Colorectal Cancer Awareness month.

Esteemed gastroenterologists Paramjit Benipal, M.D. and Robert Evans, M.D. will be educating audience members about the screening colonoscopy on Thursday, March 27, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Mission Hope Cancer Center Conference Room.  You will learn how to schedule an appointment for the test with a doctor and what to expect during the procedure.  There will also be a period for questions and answers.

The Mission Hope Cancer Center represents a new level of advanced comprehensive cancer care and treatment specifically catered to Central Coast residents.  It offers some of the most advanced technology available in a comfortable and serene environment.  In conjunction with Marian Cancer Care, the Mission Hope Cancer Center offers a series of free classes and educational lectures to those navigating through the cancer journey.
