A long time Central Coast tradition returns Saturday, April 19th, 2014 marking the beginning of another season of the Central Coast’s biggest youth fundraisers. The Elks Rodeo Queen and Rodeo Kick-Off Dinner and Auction is brought to you by our friends at Santa Maria Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram. This event will mark the official kick-off of the 6 week Elks Rodeo Queen candidate campaign. The five Elks Rodeo Queen candidates will be formally unveiled and introduced to the public for the first time, along with their sponsoring organizations, this event will be held at the Santa Maria Elks Lodge #1538. Sponsors include VTC Enterprises, Black Student Union, YOYO, Kiwanis of Guadalupe, and Catholic formation Center. If you have an item you would like to donate please contact the Elks Rodeo Office. Doors will open at 5:00pm for No-Host cocktails, and Santa Maria Style BBQ dinner will follow at 6:00pm. This exciting evening will also feature a live auction and raffle.
Following the program you will enjoy live entertainment featuring the “Just Country” Band. Tickets for this event are $25.00 each and are available at the Elks Rodeo Office located at 1309 North Bradley Road (inside the Elks Lodge). Office hours are 8:30am-5:00pm.
