The fourth and final presentation in the Rendezvous Series for the 2013-14 Philharmonic season is coming soon: Sunday, May 4, 2014, at 3:00 p.m., at a private ranch in Nipomo. Featured for this intimate classical music experience is the Burnished Brass Quartet. Relax with a glass of wine in a private setting, sitting with the performers and enjoying discussion and commentary with them. Burnished Brass members are Rich Ward and Jerry Boots, on trumpet, Steve Wilson (trombone), and Greg Magie (horn).
Your donation, suggested at $40 for adults, $15 for students, will entirely benefit the Santa Maria Philharmonic Society.
Rendezvous Concerts bring classical music home. House “Salon” Concerts began centuries ago in living rooms, parlors and drawing rooms surrounded by family and friends. In addition to experiencing the performance of live music, audiences were able to connect with composers and artists as they shared insights and thoughts on musical life. House concerts enabled listeners to enjoy the music of talented professional artists in an intimate and personal setting.
