Arroyo Grande Community Hospital (AGCH), French Hospital Medical Center (FHMC) and Marian Regional Medical Center (MRMC), which are Dignity Health Central Coast hospitals, is hosting a Media Day to announce our Stanford affiliation and introduce the Dignity Health Telemedicine Robots.
WHO: Members of the media are invited to attend the Dignity Health Telemedicine Robot Media Day to see a live demonstration of the new robots and learn about our Stanford affiliated Neuroscience program.
WHAT: Media Day for Dignity Health Telemedicine Robots
WHERE: The Dignity Health Telemedicine Robot Media Day will take place at the Marian Regional Medical Center Conference Center, located at the corner of South Palisade Drive and East Church Street in Santa Maria.
WHEN: Wednesday, July 30, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
WHY: Dignity Health Central Coast’s latest advancement in health care are
the Dignity Health Telemedicine Robots, which link physicians at Arroyo Grande Community Hospital, French Hospital Medical Center and Marian
Regional Medical Center, to Stanford’s internationally recognized
stroke center and a network of Dignity Health neurologists. In the event of an immediate, specialty neurologic consultation, telemedicine will be beneficial to ensure full coverage. Neuroscience experts are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to help assure the best care possible for our patients. Our partnership with Stanford, along with the addition of the Telehealth Robots, is designed to meet the time constraints present in a critical care setting.
