Michael Corob was recently named Ambassador of the Quarter by the Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce. He is the owner of Youani Arts, an art tile printing business.  Michael has given several showcase presentations to the chamber’s Breakfast Club on the subjects of the arts in the Santa Maria community, sublimation printing on ceramic tiles,  and sharing beauty through art.  Michael enjoys attending new business ribbon cuttings and monthly chamber mixers.  “I have met many interesting people at chamber events, ” Michael explains, “and membership in the chamber of commerce has helped me to develop great business relationships.”  Michael is a professional artist and active member of the Town Center Gallery and the Los Padres Artist Guild.  After teaching art and special education for many years, he found his niche in his ‘day job’: Home Hospital Instructor for the Santa Maria Joint Union High School District. He is a Distinguished Toastmaster, and attributes Toastmasters for his confidence to meet new people, to give presentations, and to promote the arts in Santa Maria.
