One of the most respected comedians in the country, Brian Regan is a legendary performer selling out theaters from coast to coast, including a Rotary de Tolosa fundraiser in San Luis Obispo in 2011.

On Thursday, December 4, 2014 at 7:30 p.m., Cal Poly Arts presents an encore engagement with BRIAN REGAN in Harmon Hall in the Performing Arts Center’s Cohan Center.

“He is one of my favorite, favorite stand-up comedians.” – Jerry Seinfeld

“Honestly, Brian Regan’s the best stand-up working today. Period.”

– Patton Oswalt

“I’ll take all of that guy I can get.” – David Letterman

With his first appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman in 1995, Regan solidified his place on the show and recently made his 26th appearance, the most of any comedian on the CBS show.

Since his beginnings in comedy, riding Greyhound buses from comedy club to comedy club, Regan always brought new material when returning to a city and the fans would return again and again to see what new insights Regan would uncover.  It is this prolific ability that has grown Regan’s fan base into a non-stop theater tour visiting close to 100 cities each year since 2005 and continuing through 2014.

Regan occasionally ventures off the stand-up stage; he recently appeared in Seinfeld’s Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, will be seen in the upcoming Chris Rock movie Finally Famous, and voiced the character of Weib Lunk for the 40th episode of “The Looney Tunes Show,” entitled Spread Those Wings and Fly.

Tickets for the CENTER STAGE performance range from $45 to $62 and may be purchased in advance at the Performing Arts Center Ticket Office, Tuesday – Saturday, noon to 6 p.m., located on Grand Avenue on the Cal Poly campus.
