The Marian Foundation is pleased to announce that the local organization, Cruizin’ for Life, has generously presented Marian Cancer Care at Mission Hope Cancer Center with a $100,000 check from the proceeds of their annual fall beneficiary event.  In addition to this generous contribution, and with the support of Pacific Petroleum and Santa Maria Energy, they have also donated a new, fuel-efficient vehicle to transport patients to and from cancer treatments.

Currently, Mission Hope Cancer Center provides free shuttle service for patients with a van, also donated by Cruizin’ for Life.  The addition of this new economical vehicle will extend the life of the van, a crucial means of transportation for those that are wheelchair bound.

Since 2006, Cruizin’ for Life has been a tremendous supporter of local cancer programs and services at Mission Hope.  With the $28,000 provided for the purchase of the new vehicle, along with the presentation of $100,000, the collective donation totals nearly $650,000 for Marian programs and services.

On behalf of the Marian cancer patients and their families, we express tremendous gratitude for the Cruizin’ for Life partnership in support of our healing work.
