San Luis Obispo-based IT solutions company TekTegrity, Inc. has acquired Innovative I.T, Inc. in Fresno. TekTegrity, one of the region’s largest IT providers, will now have 65 employees and serve nearly 300 businesses in the Central Coast and Central Valley regions of California.
Russ Levanway, CEO of TekTegrity, says merging the companies expands the organization’s talent pool and increases the services available to all clients. “Our clients rely on technology to keep their businesses running. Combining our resources and experience will allow us to keep up with industry advancements and develop technology tools to serve our clients better. Local businesses will have access to a broad level of expertise that’s hard to find in smaller IT companies. This move is strategic for both parties, because it provides greater value and benefits for all of our clients.”
Innovative I.T., Inc. has provided IT consulting services to businesses in the Central Valley for nearly eight years. Having been recognized as a leading technology firm, Innovative I.T. has provided IT services to hundreds of businesses.
“TekTegrity approached us with a vision for a combined company that would preserve our relationships with our clients and include our entire team at Innovative I.T. TekTegrity provides complementary support services to what we already do, which will significantly enhance the value we can provide to our clients. They also recognize the talent and passion of our staff. Merging our companies’ means we can create new career opportunities for our staff and invest in new innovative client solutions,” explained Brian Horton, CEO of Innovative I.T., Inc.
Horton will be bringing the entire team from Innovative I.T. over to the combined company.
Members of leadership teams from both companies will be meeting with Innovative I.T. clients to ensure a smooth transition.
