Hailing from Utah, THE PIANO GUYS are four dads who became an Internet sensation through their immensely successful series of strikingly original self-made music videos.

On Wednesday, May 13, 2015, 7:30 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center, Cal Poly Arts presents THE PIANO GUYS in a special-added Center Stage Event.

Since early 2011, TPG garnered 3 million You Tube subscribers and have created dozens of videos, including their innovative multi-handed version of One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful,” a gorgeous reinvention of the hit song “Let It Go” from Disney’s Frozen, and their most recent bouncy Bach-Meets-The Jackson Five hit video, “I Want You Bach.”

It’s the Guys’ highly original blend of classical music with pop that has really been the cause of an Internet phenomenon and has led to over 600 million YouTube views. It is their endearing personalities – along with their obvious talent and desire to inspire young and old – which keeps the fans coming back for more.

THE PIANO GUYS have appeared in People magazine and have performed on TV around the world. Some of their major U.S. appearances include “The Today Show,” “Katie,” “The Tonight Show” and “CBS This Morning.” They also had a stunning national PBS special, “Live at Red Butte.”

(High volume performance)

Tickets for the performance range from $40 – $75 and may be purchased in advance at the Cal Poly Ticket Office, Tuesday – Saturday, noon to 6 p.m., located on Grand Avenue on the Cal Poly campus.
