SANTA MARIA, July 15, 2015 – The Marian Regional Medical Center (MRMC) Foundation is honored to continue its great leadership tradition with the appointment of five new board members, along with announcing the officers who will lead the Board of Directors this year.
Joining the MRMC Foundation Board of Directors are George J. Adam, Mitch Ardantz, Michael Bouquet, Jason M. Diani, and Yvonne Biely.
George J. Adam is the CEO of Innovative Produce, a growing and packing company. For more than three decades he has worked in the local agricultural industry and as a longtime community leader, George is a founding Board member of the Santa Maria Valley Discovery Museum, past Board member and chair of the Grower-Shipper Vegetable Association, and has a passion for coaching local youth athletics.
Mitch Ardantz, is a third generation partner/owner of Betteravia Farms and Bonita Packing Company who obtains a wealth of experience in agriculture business. He began his career in agriculture business development and sales management. In 1998, the Bonita Packing Company ventured into fresh processing with the acquisition of a local processing facility. Since the acquisition, Mitch has remained responsible for general management, in addition to strategic planning and overall direction of Betteravia Farms and the Bonita Packing Company. He previously served on the Friends of Prado Day Center Board and currently participates on the California Polytechnic State University Agribusiness Advisory Council.
Yvonne Biely is the Administrative Assistant to Santa Barbara County 5th District Supervisor, Steve Lavagnino. Prior to her current position, she was the Event Coordinator and Public Relations/Marketing Manager for the State of California 37th District Agricultural Association – Santa Maria Fairpark. In addition to Yvonne’s marketing and communications background, her community involvement includes serving on the Santa Maria Valley Boys & Girls Club Board, Santa Barbara County Athletic Roundtable Board, past chair of the Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce Board, and supporting Toys for Court Kids.
Michael Bouquet is the managing partner of Toyota of Santa Maria and Honda of Santa Maria. Additionally, he is the current President of the Santa Maria Crossroads Auto Association. Before moving to Santa Maria, Michael worked as a certified public accountant at Deloitte & Touche, an international accounting firm in Orange County, California. He is an active community member and has served on many local boards including the Santa Maria Chamber of Commerce, St. Joseph High School, the Santa Maria Valley YMCA, and the Santa Maria Valley Boys & Girls Club.
Jason M. Diani is the Vice President of Administration for the Diani Companies, overseeing human resources, employee benefits, corporate insurance, professional licensing, accounting, and information technology. He also currently serves as a Board member of the Santa Maria Valley Economic Development Commission, is a current Board member and past chair of the Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce, and is a past Board member of the Santa Maria Valley Boys & Girls Club.
The Foundation is also pleased to announce the Executive Committee Officers who will lead the Board of Directors this year. The MRMC Foundation Board’s new Executive Committee Officers include:
