A DJ, dancing, and decadent desserts were all part of the ribbon cutting and open house for Santa Maria Terrace Senior Living on Thursday by the Santa Maria Chamber of Commerce and its Ambassadors.
The Chamber Ambassadors helped welcome Santa Maria Terrace into the community organization. Santa Maria Terrace recently remodeled its lobby and common area for residents with new flooring, beautifully appointed decor, furniture and modern amenities.
The facility is located at 1405 E. Main St., directly across the street from Marian Regional Medical Center.
Santa Maria Terrace offers independent living, assisted and dementia care, all served by a superior staff dedicated to provide quality care while maintaining independence. Residents who call Santa Maria Terrace Senior Living home enjoy an active independent atmosphere, while receiving support services as needed.
Santa Maria Terrace has been taking care of seniors for over 30 years with a combined total of 150 years of dedicated staff experience. On June 1, 2013, The Ensign Group bought Santa Maria Terrace and has done a complete remodel, changing the face and culture of the facility.
The four-story building offers studio and one-bedroom apartments. A private courtyard features an award-winning rose garden and gazebo which provides the perfect setting for barbecues, family gatherings, or just relaxing with friends or a good book.
Companionship and recreational activities are always available. Residents can enjoy an afternoon of sight-seeing and lunch via the facility’s Lincoln Town Car or 19 passenger community bus, or a movie and popcorn prepared in an old-fashioned popcorn wagon.
The activity room features crafts, playing cards, or enjoying a Wii bowling match. Shopping, entertainment, and medical centers are conveniently accessible by with their scheduled transportation.
