The public is invited to attend the grand opening and ribbon cutting for Worldlynk EXEDE High-Speed Satellite Internet at noon on Aug. 6.

The Thursday kickoff event will feature an official grand opening, plaque presentation and ribbon cutting ceremony courtesy of the Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce at Wordlynk’s office, 742 Arctic Ave. In addition, attendees will enjoy light refreshments and a give-away drawing.

New to the Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce and business community, Worldlynk, LLC, is headquartered in Albuquerque, New Mexico under the ownership of Drake and Gloria LeMaster. Vice president Eric Blair and regional sales manager Mike Stites, have been the faces of the local dealership, which began initiating business in the area in June. Jon Jaqua, showroom manager and computer repair expert in the Santa Maria Valley and Santa Barbara County regions, joined the Worldlynk staff in July.
