This May, the the Central Coast Collaboration on Homelessness will be holding a “Santa Maria Care Day” as a way to thank local care givers who help care for local individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
These service providers help with housing, shelter, and treatment for some of our most vulnerable men, women, and families experiencing homelessness in Santa Maria. These providers usually work long hours to help them out of homelessness and ultimately reduce impacts on the city as well. They do so much for our community, this event is a small way for our local community to say thanks.
The community is asking local businesses to show their appreciation by donating prizes that will be raffled off during the event. From gift certificates to gift baskets or other prizes, any donation is helpful and would be greatly appreciated.
Those interested in learning more or donating can contact Molly Schiff at the Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce at (805) 925-2401 x 816, or firstname.lastname@example.org.
