Santa Maria Public Library

The Santa Maria Public Library and the Valley Art Gallery are providing a unique free art program in three-dimensional felting for adults, at the library’s Shepard Hall from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 8th.

The workshop offers participants an opportunity to explore three-dimensional art felting.  Participants will learn how to create wool projects using raw wool and a special barbed needle.  The workshop will begin with an easy project.  After mastering the basics, participants can try their hand at more complex designs.

Seating is limited and registration is required to ensure a seat.  Registration is underway at the second floor Information Desk, located within the library at 421 S. McClelland Street.

The library’s hours are 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The library is closed on Sunday.

Questions may be directed to the reference desk at 925-0994 ext. 8562.
