We are excited to share that the Marian Regional Medical Center Foundation’s Annual Dinner is scheduled for Sunday, August 28, 2016, at The Cliffs Resort in Pismo Beach. All proceeds from the Annual Dinner will benefit the Marian Emergency Services Expansion Project which will break ground later this year. We write to ask for your sponsorship gift support of this effort to meet the increasing demand for emergency patient care.
When a serious accident occurs or life-threatening illness strikes, time is of the essence. Community members seek emergency care at Marian Regional Medical Center because they are in crisis. Our Emergency Department’s expert health care professionals stand ready 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to provide immediate care in order to save lives, prolong lives, and improve the quality of life for all in need.
Since the opening of the new hospital’s 32-bed Emergency Department in 2012, Marian’s patient volume has quickly grown from 4,000 visits per month to peaks of greater than 7,000 visits in some months. In only four years since the opening of our beautiful new hospital, we are now providing emergency care to nearly 300 patients per day, with children now representing up to 30% of those patients. Your support of the Emergency Services Expansion Project is a sound investment in the health of the community and will redefine emergency care for Santa Maria and the Central Coast.
The Annual Dinner is Marian Foundation’s, premier fund raising event, attended by more than 400 members of the Marian medical staff, administration, Board leadership, donors, community leaders, and friends.
Thank you in advance for your consideration of support for this special event to benefit the Marian Emergency Services Expansion Project. Please feel free to contact the Foundation for additional information.
