Voters can return their vote by mail ballot to any polling location in Santa Barbara County on Election Day. Polling places are open from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm. Visit the Upcoming Elections page at www.sbcvote.com to view a list of polling locations by area.
Offices in Santa Barbara, Santa Maria and Lompoc will be open on Saturday, June 4, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and on Election Day, Tuesday, June 7 from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm. Voters unable to vote at the polls on Election Day can vote in one of the Santa Barbara County Elections offices. Santa Barbara County Elections Offices are located at:
- Santa Barbara: 4440-A Calle Real (corner of Calle Real and Honor Farm Rd)
- Santa Maria: 511 E. Lakeside Parkway, Suite 134

If returning their ballot by mail, Holland encourages voters to sign and date their return envelope and place his/her ballot in the mail no later than Election Day. If a ballot return envelope is signed and dated on or before June 7 and postmarked as of June 7, the Elections Office can accept the ballot if it is received by Friday, June 10. One first-class mail stamp or one Forever stamp is sufficient postage for returning the ballot. Voters can find their polling place location on the elections website using the Poll Place and Sample Ballot Lookup or by calling 568-2200 or 1-800-SBC-VOTE. Holland would also like to place a call out to civic-minded individuals to work at the polls on Election Day. Stand-By and Back-Up poll workers are needed to fill any last minute cancellations.
