Awesome Photography & Video Owner and Photographer Mohammad Mohabbat’s love for photography comes from his love for interacting with people.
“I love people, and I get so much back from seeing the smiles on my client’s faces when they work with me and see the finished photos.” he said.
Mohabbat has decades of experience in photography. He’s traveled around the world and met a variety of different types of people, and says the scenery on the Central Coast makes it an ideal place for his business.
Mohabbat says that the key to getting a good photograph is first getting to know your client and gaining their trust, and also understanding the psychology behind photography.
“Different age groups and different genders with different life experiences see themselves differently,” Mohabbat said. “and therefore they have different expectations of the photographer.”
He explained teens expectations tend to be higher because they are more familiar with photography because of today’s technology. The older generation tends to enjoys a more formal, posed photo and aren’t looking to push the envelope like teens are.
Mohabbat’s strength is understanding people and knowing their expectations going into a photoshoot so he can exceed those expectations.
“ You have to talk with [your clients] and listen and find out more about them before taking their photos. You have to see how they see themselves to understand how to make them feel comfortable enough to sit in front of a camera.”
The best part? For Mohabbat, it’s getting to know his clients and exceeding their expectations with the finished product.
“Every single person that comes to me – they’re assure they’ll get the best photography, the best price, the best location, an the best experience,” Mohabbat said. “Clients who come to me once keep coming back, and to me that’s the best compliment I can get.”
