The Santa Maria Public Library is pleased to offer the movie The Choice, which is PG-13. The film will be screened at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 10th in Shepard Hall.
The film is about Travis and Gabby. who first meet as neighbors in a small coastal town and wind up in a relationship that is tested by life’s most defining events. Resisting romantic commitments while enjoying a life of boating, swimming, and barbecues, Travis is unable to deny his attraction to his new neighbor, a defensive woman whose long-time boyfriend further challenges his growing feelings. The movie is adapted from Nicholas Sparks’ best-selling novel. Mr. Sparks has published 18 novels, most of which are best-selling books, and two non-fiction books.
Every Movie Night is free. Food is allowed during the screening.
Seating is limited and is offered on a first come, first served basis.
The Santa Maria Public Library is open Monday through Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Friday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The library is closed on Sunday.
