The Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce recently welcomed Mobile Bookkeeping and Payroll Services to the Chamber with a ribbon cutting!
Mobile Bookkeeping and Payroll Services is owned and operated by Natalie Santella, who has over 14 years of bookkeeping experience. The Santa Maria-based company offers a variety of services including:
Bookkeeping, Payroll, Job Costing, A/P and A/R Solutions, Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor offering Desktop and Cloud-based QuickBooks Training.
Natalie Santella decided to open her own business after praying about it for the past 3 1/2 years.
She owned and operated a business with her husband for several years in the early 2000’s and discovered that bookkeeping was her favorite part of running the business and has since then has done bookkeeping and other business services since then.
“I did everything from the front office to the back office to sales and bookkeeping, and I really found that I loved the bookkeeping aspect of it,” Santella said. “And so I’ve stayed with that through all these years.”
Santella recently opened Mobile Bookkeeping and Payroll Services as a way to share her expertise with other local businesses who may need help with the important task of bookkeeping, payroll and other business services.
She says keeping good books is important to understand where your company stands financially, and in the case where your business may get audited.
“You need to know where you stand. You need to know, ‘Am I able to take that extra job on?’, ‘Am I able to purchase that extra piece of equipment?’,” explained Santella. “[Good bookkeeping] tells you a lot about your business and lets you know where you are at so you can grow at the pace you would like to grow.”
