Nearly 70 percent of Allan Hancock College students receive financial aid, and you could be one of them! It does not cost anything to apply, and the reward could be thousands of dollars in financial aid. There is still time to apply in time for financial assistance for the summer and fall semesters at Allan Hancock College. Last year, Hancock students received more than $30 million in financial assistance.
Financial aid can help students pay for the cost of education, with assistance coming in several forms, including grants – which don’t have to be repaid – loans and work study. In addition, nearly half a million dollars in scholarships is awarded every year to incoming, current or transferring students by the Allan Hancock College Foundation.
The Board of Governors’ (BOG) fee waiver also pays enrollment fees for eligible students.
For help with other expenses, complete the Free Application for Financial Aid (FAFSA) to receive up to $8,000 to cover all other fees (such as nonresident tuition, student health fee, materials fees, textbooks, transportation, living expenses and more).
Information about all forms of financial aid is available in the Santa Maria campus Financial Aid office in building A. Stop by, or call (805) 922-6966 ext. 3200. In Lompoc, stop by the Lompoc Valley Center or call (805) 735-3366.
