The City of Santa Maria Recreation and Parks Department is offering a youth volleyball clinic that will introduce fundamental skills to young boys and girls and prepare teen athletes for the upcoming junior high school volleyball season. All aspects of the game will be addressed including serving, passing, setting, and hitting the ball.

Register by Friday, July 14th. The clinic will take place Monday, July 17th through Thursday, July 20th from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m. for ages 7 through 10, and from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. for ages 11 through 14.

The clinic site will be at the Edwards Community Center, located at 809 Panther Drive. Participants are asked to register for the clinic at the Recreation and Parks Department administrative office, located at 615 South McClelland Street, or online at The fee is $26.50 for City residents and $33.50 for non-City residents and includes a T-shirt.
