BULLDOG BOW-WOW KICKS OFF FALL SEMESTER
New and current students at Allan Hancock College will have fun while learning the latest about the college’s student services, academic programs and student organizations during fall semester’s kick-off event, Bulldog Bow-WOW. Sponsored by the college’s Associated Student Body Government (ASBG), Bow-WOW will be held at both the Santa Maria campus and the Lompoc Valley Center (LVC). The week of welcome event is the premier on-campus event during the first month of classes.
The Santa Maria event takes place Wednesday, Sept. 6, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Student Center (bldg. G) and Commons. The LVC event will take place Thursday, Sept. 14, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. outside of building 2.
More than 1,500 students will learn about essential student services to help them succeed in college (i.e. counseling, tutoring, financial aid and more), meet faculty and staff, learn about student clubs, explore various academic and career prep programs and enjoy free music, karaoke and food.
