Tour & Taste Survives Record Heat Wave
Over 500 bikers, runners, tasters, artists, participants, volunteers and staff braved record breaking temperatures at this year’s Tour & Taste of the Valley. Everyone who attended said “they had a great time, but it was hot!”. Water was the most popular tasting item of the day. We went through over 50 cases of water and 80 bags of ice! Our staff did an incredible job making sure that our participants and volunteers had a safe and fun experience. Special thanks to Tim Rooney, Terri Lee and Doug Coleman and our T&T committee members who worked very hard to make this event a success

BGCSMV Attends Expofest 2017
BGCSMV had a booth at Expofest 2017 sponsored by the Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce. People who stopped by the booth were able to find out about our programs, special events, and much more. It was fun to see how many Club alumni stopped by the booth.
Our Keystone Club members also helped at the booth. They were able to take time to check out the rest of the show. One of their favorites was the exhibit by Club supporter Aera Energy. The kids were very interested in finding out about jobs in the energy sector.
Special thanks to Cameron Stephens at SM Tire for donating our booth space!
