Boys and ghouls of all ages can get into the spooky spirit by having their faces painted, decorating pumpkins, making Halloween crafts, playing games and more from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 29. And take your Halloween costumes for a test drive in the Discovery Museum’s “Gone Batty” Costume Contest for a chance to win some cool prizes! Event is included with the price of admission or free to members.

Get into the Halloween spirit by making a friendly feline out of paper from 12 to 4 p.m.

Oct. 24: Tuesday Tales

What kinds of adventures do cats have a night? Find out when we read Laura Godwin’s “One Moon, Two Cats” at 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Oct. 25: Preschool Patrol

This mini broom craft is a festive way to help develop your little witch or wizard’s fine-motor skills at 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Oct. 26: Passport Thursday

Fit Friday

At 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., travel to Mexico and other parts of Latin America to learn about Dia de los Muertos and make a colorful skull mask!

Oct. 26: Brain Builders

This week Brain Builders of all ages will make Halloween play dough and sculptures at 3:30 p.m.

Oct. 27: Fit Friday

Families can work on their hand-eye coordination and movement skills with this silly Witch’s Hat ring toss game at 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
