The Clark Center Association will present Tapestry: The Carole King Concert Experience on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 8:00 pm at the Clark Center in Arroyo Grande.
Tapestry: Tribute to Carole King faithfully recreates the glorious sound of a Carole King concert, and stars Jeannie Austin on piano and vocals with her back-up singers and band.
Carole King is without question the most successful and revered female singer-songwriter in pop music history.
More than 400 of her compositions have been recorded by over 1000 artists, resulting in 100 hit singles. Her 1971 album “Tapestry” took King to the pinnacle of popular music, winning all of the top Grammy Awards – record, song, and album of the year, and best female vocalist.
Tapestry: The Carole King Concert Experience faithfully recreates the glorious sound of a Carole King concert with all her top hits, including “You’ve Got a Friend”, “Natural Woman”, “It’s Too Late”, “So Far Away”, “I Feel the Earth Move” and “Beautiful”.
