Evinco Strength & Conditioning owners Alexandra Klein and Shawn Torres are joined by Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce & Visitor and Convention Bureau Ambassadors and community members to cut the ceremonial ribbon welcoming them to the Chamber!

We recently welcomed Evinco Strength & Conditioning to the Chamber with a ribbon cutting. Located at 3558 Skyway Dr., #A in Santa Maria, the recently opened fitness facility offers a variety of group classes and personal training for all levels.

“We primarily focus on Crossfit classes, however we do run a beginners boot camp where we slow things down a bit and focus on more basic movements before moving on to anything too complex,” explained Alexandra Klein, co-owner of Evinco Strength & Conditioning. “We also offer our USAW weightlifting classes and programming, and we have our Birthfit pregnancy and post-partum training as well.”

Klein says people often feel intimated by Crossfit classes, but the classes at Evinco are scalable to any level of fitness.

“We have people who have never worked out a day in their lives, and we work with them just as much as we work with people who have been doing this for five years,” she explained. “There’s always room for improvement and no matter what level you are at or what your fitness goals may be, we can help you get there.”

Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce & Visitor and Convention Bureau Membership Manager Cara Martinez presents the ceremonial ribbon to Evinco Strength & Conditioning Owners Alexandra Klein and Shawn Torres, welcoming them to the Chamber!

Klein started doing Crossfit when trying to find ways to stay active after being heavily involved in sports in high school and college.

“I found Crossfit, instantly fell in love, and proceeded to become a coach,” Klein said. She’s also a Birthfit certified instructor, and has done Crossfit through her own two pregnancies.

Whatever your level and fitness goals may be, Klein highly encourages everyone to check out Evinco Strength & Conditioning. “I always hear people saying, ‘I wish I would have started sooner so I can see this improvement in my life,’” she said. “Moms, dads, grandparents, teens – our classes can really benefit everyone, and it’s a lot of fun. I encourage you all to come check it out.”

Evinco Strength & Conditioning offers group classes Monday – Friday between 5:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Saturdays at 9 a.m.. They also offer personal training at varied times throughout the week.
