COMMUNITY BANK OF SANTA MARIA ANNOUNCES MULTIPLE PROMOTIONS
SANTA MARIA, CA. – January 12, 2018
Janet Silveria, President and CEO of Community Bank of Santa Maria, recently announced five promotions within the bank. Leah West, a Commercial Loan Officer with the bank, has been promoted to Branch Manager of the bank’s Santa Maria Way branch. Courtney Chacon, Operations Officer, also at the bank’s Santa Maria Way branch, has been promoted to an Assistant Vice President. Ruth Moran, an Assistant Vice President/Loan Officer, has been promoted to Branch Manager of the bank’s division, Lompoc Community Bank, in Lompoc. Elise Fuentes, Executive Assistant, was appointed an Officer of the bank. And Karen Eade, Credit Analyst, was also appointed an Officer of the Bank. “This is an exciting time for us,” Silveria comments. “These promotions are a result of the hard work and dedication of these staff members, and were necessary due to the overall growth and success of the bank.”
Leah West joined the bank’s commercial lending department January, 2011. She brings over 30 years of banking and lending experience to our team. Leah is actively involved in the community and shares the bank’s philosophies on customer service. West resides in Lompoc with her husband of 33 years, Gary. They have three sons, one grand-daughter and one grandson.
Courtney Chacon joined Community Bank of Santa Maria in February, 2015 as Operations Officer at our Santa Maria Way branch. With her years of operational experience and friendly nature she has excelled in her role with the bank. Chacon resides in Guadalupe with her husband and four children.
Ruth Moran first joined the bank in January, 2014. Moran brings over 20 years of banking and lending experience to Community Bank of Santa Maria. She is an active member of the Rotary Club of Lompoc and is also the Director of the Lompoc Community Garden. Moran resides in Lompoc with her two daughters.
Elise Fuentes, a native of Santa Maria, first joined the bank in October, 2008. Fuentes is a graduate of Pioneer Valley High School and attended Alan Hancock College. She has worked a variety of positions within the bank before being promoted to Executive Assistant and a bank officer.
Karen Eade, originally from Monterey County and part of a generational agriculturist family, is involved with California Women for Agriculture and California Cattleman’s Association. She has called the Central Coast home for 20 years and has over 30 years of commercial and agricultural lending background.
Community Bank of Santa Maria is the only bank headquartered right here in Santa Maria.
